Meet Dr. Lacues
Dr. Michelle Lacues is a Redwood City native having gone to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Elementary School and Woodside High School. After high school, Dr. Lacues attended the University of San Francisco where she received degrees in both Biology and Chemistry. She was honored with an Achievement Reward for College Scientist Scholarship (ARCS Scholar) for her contributions to research in both Biology and Chemistry. In addition, she was awarded the Claire Booth Luce Scholarship, a national recognition award and scholarship for scholastic achievement. Out of her graduating class of 5,984, Dr. Lacues not only graduated Summa Cum Laude, but also was one of the three finalists for Valedictorian and the prestigious Deans’ Medal. After attending USF, Dr. Lacues attended the UCSF School of Dentistry where she distinguished herself as a National Board Scholar.
At UCSF she served on numerous committees influencing both patient care and students’ academic and clinical curriculum. Dr. Lacues has not only demonstrated a strong commitment to clinical excellence, but is also devoted to comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
While Dr. Lacues was offered a faculty position at UCSF, she has chosen to remain in Redwood City where she now practices general dentistry.
